The schematic diagram of the process flow for glass jars is as follows:

Various materials → batching workshop → weighing → mixing → melting workshop → feeding machine → glass furnace melting → feeding channel (machine) → forming equipment → annealing → inspection and packaging → factory delivery

2. Process flow clarification

Generally, glass can factories need to produce and assist workshops such as batching workshops, melting workshops (including kilns), broken glass processing workshops, machine repair workshops, databases, packaging warehouses, etc. The supporting shared engineering equipment includes gas stations (heavy oil depots, gas pressure regulating stations), air compression stations, substations, water pump rooms, sewage treatment stations, weighing scales, and dormitory buildings, office buildings, canteens, bathhouses, and other individual buildings for daily service equipment.

The general process is as follows: the cooperative materials that meet the requirements prepared in the batching workshop are transported by the conveying equipment to the kiln head material bin in the melting workshop, and then added to the glass material kiln by the feeding machine. They are melted into glass liquid at a high temperature of about 1450 ℃. The melted glass liquid is then supplied to the forming equipment (such as canning machines) through the feeding channel by the feeding machine to make the required products. The products are then sent to the annealing furnace for annealing and stress removal through the tank conveying and pushing machines. After the quality of the products is inspected, qualified products are packaged and stored in the warehouse before leaving the factory.

(1) Ingredient workshop: This workshop generally has various built-in silos, lifting equipment, weighing equipment, mixing equipment, etc. If various minerals and chemical materials are weighed and mixed to produce cooperative materials that meet the requirements. The materials for producing daily glass include seven or eight types of mineral and chemical materials such as silica sand, limestone, dolomite, feldspar, soda ash, and broken glass.

(2) Melting workshop: This workshop is the production workshop of the glass factory, generally equipped with glass kilns, feeding channels (machines), forming equipment (canning machines), annealing furnaces, inspection and packaging equipment, etc. Nowadays, the workshop generally adopts a two-layer (partially three-layer) placement method, with molding equipment (canning machine), annealing furnace, inspection packaging and other equipment placed on the second floor, and automated inspection packaging is used.

3. Process flow of glass jar

The production process of glass jars mainly includes:

① Data preprocessing. Crush the block shaped materials (quartz sand, soda ash, limestone, feldspar, etc.) to make the moist materials dry, and remove iron from the iron containing materials to ensure the quality of the glass.

② Preparation of cooperative materials.

③ Melting. Glass jars are traditional beverage packaging containers in China, and glass is also a type of packaging material with a long history. Despite the influx of various packaging materials into the market, glass containers still play an important role in beverage packaging, which is inseparable from their packaging characteristics that cannot be replaced by other packaging materials. Glass cooperative materials are heated at high temperatures (1550-1600 degrees) in a tank kiln or furnace to form uniform, bubble free liquid glass that meets the forming requirements.

④ Forming. Place liquid glass into a mold to create glass products of the desired shape, such as plates, various vessels, etc.

⑤ Heat treatment. By annealing, quenching and other processes, stress, phase separation or crystallization inside the glass material can be eliminated or occur, as well as the structural condition of the glass can be modified.
